The Invisible Near

By Louis-Louise Kay & Angèle Towt

The Invisible Near is a virtual reality creation constructed as a musical dialogue between a stroller and an imaginary monumental ecosystem. A virtual orchestra takes the form of a landscape left to the free exploration of the user, in which each architectural and environmental element is moved in real time by a musical instrument, giving rise to a mysterious and symbiotic ballet. Released into this world of foreign codes, the user becomes aware, as he interacts, of his ability to play his own musical score in the piece being performed before his eyes, and in so doing, transforms the ecosystem he inhabits.
