At the meeting of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the law of five spikes is adopted: all grain crops in Ukraine are to be confiscated. A desperate father tries to hide grain for his family but is arrested. We then discover what could have been the life of his wife and children. In 1933, 4,000,000 people died of starvation in Ukraine.
