Madagascar, a Journey Diary
By Bastien Dubois
The Famadihana, a Malagasy custom which means the turning of the dead, an important place of festive events, dances and sacrifices of zebus, but especially a lot of cult of the elders of Malagasy society. The story is told in a travel diary, it is about a western traveler confronted with these different customs. The pages of the notebook are turned, then the drawings come alive, we travel the lush landscapes of Madagascar before being introduced to the Malagasy culture.
